Who can enter and win?
If you are a Breaking Ground subscriber and do
not fall into one of the exceptions listed in the rules below,
you are eligible to enter and win.
What is a Breaking Ground
subscriber?
A Breaking Ground subscriber is someone who has
placed their email address on the subscriber list and receives
an email each month telling them that the new Breaking Ground
issue is ready for them to visit and read. If you unsubscribe
from that list, you are no longer a Breaking Ground subscriber.
What if I am not currently
a Breaking Ground subscriber
All you have to do is subscribe by
clicking here. Then you will be on
the list and begin receiving your notification email the
following month.
When do the notification
emails go out?
The emails are generally sent just before or after the first of
each month.
How do I enter the
drawing?
Simply visit
www.wtibreakingground.com and click "Enter the Drawing" in
the Sweepstakes section. You will need the username and password
that will be in the notification email you get each month
telling you about the Breaking Ground. You should enter each
month!
How often can I enter the
drawing?
One time per month but you can enter each and
every month! All entries are erased on the 20th of the month and
will start over the following month. You must enter each month
to be eligible for that month's drawing.
How are the winners
chosen?
On the 20th of each month, 50 email addresses
will be randomly chosen from the list of entries. These 50
people will then get an email from us telling them they are 1 of
50 potential finalist. They have 5 days to respond (reply) to
that email to become a finalist.
When will the winner be
chosen?
The finalist will be listed in a voting poll in
the next Breaking Ground issue. At that point, anyone and
everyone will have the opportunity to vote for who they want to
win the prize. On the last day of that month, the finalist with
the most votes will win.
Who is allowed to vote for
the winner?
Anyone who is not disqualified by the rules
below. The voting is not restricted to Breaking Ground
subscribers. Anyone can go to
www.wtibreakingground.com and vote for their favorite.
However, you will be prevented from voting more than once a
month from the same IP address and computer.
How do you vote for a
winner?
Just visit
www.wtibreakingground.com and vote in the poll located in
the Sweepstakes section.
When is the voting closed and
the winner decided?
On the last day of the month at 5 PM Central Time
How long before the prize
is shipped to the winner?
Once a winner has been chosen, an email will go
out to that winner requesting their full name and shipping
address. Once we receive that back, the prize will ship within 7
business days.
How do I use my gift
certificate if I win?
By calling The Whitetail Institute at 1-800-688-3030 and placing
your order by phone.
Who is not eligible to
enter and win?
Anyone who is not a Breaking Ground subscriber, all employees of
GTI, all employees of The Whitetail Institute and any employees
of advertisers currently advertising in the Breaking Ground.
